Updated March 29, 2018: Just two weeks after a similiar announcement, DC have announced that Kurt Busiek and John Paul Leon's Batman: Creature of the Night #3 is now pegged at an April 18 release.

That's a one week drift from March 13, but seven weeks in total since the original February 28 release date.

The final issue, Batman: Creature of the Night #4, has not been solicited in the April, May, or June 2018 solicitations.

Another Busiek project, Astro City, has also experienced delays recently.

Updated March 13, 2018: DC's Batman: Creature of the Night #3 has once again been delayed, moving back to an April 11 release.

Updated March 2, 2018: DC’s Batman: Creature of the Night #3 has been delayed once again, pushing back to an April 4 release. No reason was given for the change, but it follows the previous delays outlined below. Subsequent issues remain unsolicited, however.

Original Story: The third issue of Kurt Busiek and John Paul Leon's Batman: Creature of the Night has been pushed back one month to March 28. The second issue was released on December 27, with #3 originally-solicited for a February 28 release. No reason was given for this change.

Originally announced in 2010 as a thematic sequel to 2004's Superman: Secret Identity, Batman: Creature of the Night took eight years to complete as, according to Leon, it was never officially "on the schedule" at DC with he and Busiek working on it between other, more prioritized, projects.

Announced as a four-issue series, that fourth issue was not solicited for March or April 2018.
