Mark Valley in "The Flash"

Fox's Human Target star Mark Valley has been cast to play a district attorney Anton Slater in CW's The Flash, according to TVLine. Valley will debut in Tuesday's "The Trial of the Flash" episode.

In comic books, Anton Slater prosecuted Barry Allen for the murder of the Reverse Flash. Slater was created by Cary Bates and Carmine Infantino.

Valley is best known for his roles in various legal and crime TV dramas including Boston Legal, Harry's Law, Fringe, and Body of Proof. Valley starred in Fox's Human Target, which ran for two seasons from 2010 to 2011. The military vet also voiced Superman in the animated Batman: The Dark Knight Returns movie.

The Flash resumes airing Tuesdays on the CW next week.
