The first of Marvel Comics' "post-credits" scenes with the newly-resurrected Wolverine (who came back to life in September's Marvel Legacy #1) has debuted in Captain America #697.

Spoilers ahead for Captain America #697.

In the scene from writer Mark Waid and artist Lienil Yu, Wolverine arrives at a bar where Captain America was seen previously in the issue's opening sequence - presumably waiting to meet Wolverine, who arrives late. Asking the bartender if he's seen a "tall beefy blonde guy," the bartender says he has not. Wolverine remarks that he's not surprised, and that he'll have to meet with Rogers another time.

The single page scene constitutes Wolverine's first appearance since his return in Marvel Legacy #1. It's also interesting to note the implication that some in the Marvel Universe - including Captain America - seem to know he's back.

More Wolverine "post-credits" scenes are scheduled to appear in Amazing Spider-Man #794, Mighty Thor #703, Marvel 2-In-One #3, Black Panther #170, Avengers #680, Incredible Hulk #714, X-Men: Red #2, and Invincible Iron Man #598.
