Paramount Pictures' untitled third Cloverfield film has been pushed back to an April 20, 2018 release date, reports /Film. The film, which was shot under the working title "God Particle," is the third part in J.J. Abrams' loosely connected Cloverfield series.
The film was originally set for release February 14, 2017 but following some reshoots by Abrams the film was pushed back to October 17, 2017, then February 2, 2018, and now this April 20, 2018 date.
This Cloverfield film stars Daniel Bruhl, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris O'Dowd, and David Oyelowo, and is directed by first-timer Julius Onah.
With this new April 20 release date, the film is going head-to-head with Rampage, the Overboard remake, Super Troopers 2, and Tully.
