Kodansha has launched its second annual Marvel Manga Awards competition. The contest encourages artists to submit artwork to be considered to draw a licensed Marvel serial published by Kodansha in the long-running Weekly Shonen magazine. The winner will also receive 3 million Yen (roughly $24,490 in U.S. Dollars.)
The deadline for entries in the contest is May 10, 2018, with a winner scheduled to be announced on August 18.
The winner of the inaugural Marvel Manga Awards, Kohei Uchida, went on to draw Guardians of the Galaxy: Galaxy Rush.
