Veteran inker Victor Llamas passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 from medical complications after a long hospital stay.

Llamas broke into comic books as part of Marc Silvestri's Top Cow bullpen, inking for artists such as Silvestri, David Finch, Billy Tan, and Joe Benitez. In addition to working on Top Cow titles such as The Darkness, Witchblade, and Aprhodite IX, he inked over fellow Top Cow alums on titles such as Batman, G.I. Joe, X-Men, and Star Wars: Republic. Llamas' most recent work was as an inker on Benitez's Wraithborn Redux.

Llamas is survived by his wife, Amy, and three children: Alec, Chase, and Emily. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to assist them with a memorial service for Victor, as well as family finances.
