Artist Joe Quinones will take over art duties on Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #301 through #303, rejoining his former Howard the Duck creative partner, writer Chip Zdarsky for an arc titled "Amazing Fantasy."
“I’m a big fan of stealing creative teams off other editor’s books, so as soon as Chip signed on to Peter Parker, I knew we had to get Joe Quinones to come too," joked editor Nick Lowe. “The story that Chip has for [issues] #301-303 is perfect for the character acting and wonderful madness that Joe brings to the table."
The story will focus on Spider-Man, Teresa Parker, and J. Jonah Jameson dealing with the fallout from February's #300. Not much else is known about the plot of "Amazing Fantasy," but Quinones' cover for #302 shows two Spider-Men squaring off against the Green Goblin.
Quinones has been the regular artist on America, though artist Stacey Lee is solicited as the interior artist on February's #12, the latest solicited issue.
Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #301 is due out on shelves in March.
