An "adult action-comedy" animated series centered on Harley Quinn is in development for Warner Bros.'s DC digital service, reports Deadline. Powerless showrunners Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker are overseeing the project, with Dean Lorey also involved.
The show would feature Harley, as well as Poison Ivy and other characters. Harley Quinn comic book writer/artist Amanda Conner has done development art for the show.
Live-action Harley Quinn actor Margot Robbie is "expected" to be asked to voice the character in the series, which is pegged for a 26-episode first season.
This Harley Quinn project joins the revived Young Justice animated series as well as a live-action Titans for this as-yet-unnamed DC digital service.
No timetable for release has been given.
