Brian Michael Bendis has assured fans that characters he created, such as Jessica Jones, Riri Williams, and Miles Morales would continue to appear in Marvel Comics after he leaves for a DC exclusive deal in 2018. And, what's more, he's already chosen the writer to take over Jessica Jones when he departs - though he's not naming her yet.
"Truth told I was already leaving [Jessica Jones] after 'Purple' for a Marvel project that is sadly no longer, and had already picked my replacement. She is amazing," Bendis explained on his Tumblr. "I will not be updating you on Marvel’s plans here as it is theirs to announce and certainly not my place. But do not take that as anything but me respecting the process. I am so happy for all m’babies next evolution."
As for what that project may have been, Bendis didn't say. However, in June of this year, he announced Punisher: End of Days, a spin-off from his Daredevil: End of Days mini-series, which was never solicited.
