New York City will be putting up a new street sign marking "Bill Finger Way" at an official city ceremony this week. The sign is being placed at East 192nd Street and the Grand Concouse in the Bronx, in the northeast corner closest to Poe Park.

Poe Park is where, according to the Finger family, Bill Finger and Bob Kane first talked about the ideas that would become Batman.

An official city ceremony will take place December 8 at 10 a.m., with speakers including Athena Finger (Bill's granddaughter), historian Marc Tyler Nobleman, and an unspecified local city councilman.
