Hugh Jackman may be retired from playing Wolverine, but that's not stopping him from teasing fans with the idea of donning his classic blue and yellow costume once and for all.

"Just maybe I will finally wear blue and yellow spandex for my Halloween Costume," Jackman joked on Twitter in a post accompanied by a picture of him holding an off the rack Wolverine Halloween costume.

Jackman tagged the picture "#tootall", which may be a joke about the relative size of the costume, or perhaps the crticism that Jackman himself was too tall to play the notoriously short Woverine when he was cast in 2000's X-Men.

Though Jackman never wore Wolverine's comic book costume in any of his film appearances, there was also a joke about "yellow spandex" in X-Men. A deleted scene from The Wolverine also introduced a version of his brown and yellow costume.

Jackman's last performance as Wolverine was in this year's Logan. The actor recently reiterated that he would not return to the role.
