The CW's Arrow returned for its sixth season on Thursday evening with a 1.57m viewership, according to ByTheNumbers. That is a relatively mild 14% decline from its last season premiere, which was boosted later by 1.2m DVR viewers tracked.
Working in the 9pm Thursday slot, Arrow was eclipsed by CBS's Monday Night Football (10.45m), NBC's Will & Grace (6.59m), ABC's Scandal (5.05m), and Fox's Orville (3.38m).
Fox's Gotham aired in its new Thursday 8pm timeslot with 2.69m viewership, down 10% from last week's episode.
Arrow and Gotham airs on Thursday at the CW and Fox, respectively.
