LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Steady But FLASH Down In Season Premiere Viewership

DC's Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash returned for the beginnings of their new seasons on Tuesday evening - with one being stable, but the other down slightly, according to Variety.

The Flash's 8pm premiere was watched by 2.8 million United States viewers, down 10% from its 2016 season premiere viewership of 3.2m. Last night went head-to-head with NCIS (13.3m), The Voice (10.9m), The Middle (5.8m), and Lethal Weapon (3.8m).

DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which followed at 9pm, was seen by 1.7m in the United States - roughly even with its previous season premiere viewship of 1.82m. It's competition was This Is Us (10.9m), NCIS: New Orleans (9.5m), Fresh Off The Boat (4.1m), and The Mick (2.3m).

The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays on the CW.
