PEANUTS' SCHULZ Museum 'Safe' But Without Power Following Wildfires

Updated October 10, 2017: The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center remains closed following wildfires in the Santa Rosa, California region, but has confirmed the building is safe.

"The Museum is safe but still without power and is located in an evacuation area," the museum posted on Facebook. "We will remain closed today and will keep you posted day to day. Our hearts and prayers are with all of Santa Rosa and we hope everyone stays safe and with loved ones."
 

Original Story: The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa, California was closed Monday as the surrounding area has been evacuated due to the approaching California wildfires.

"Museum is closed today due to fires in Santa Rosa," The Museum posted on Facebook Monday. "Please stay safe! We’ll keep you updated as we learn more news!"

On Tuesday, Schulz Museum remain closed.

"THE MUSEUM IS CLOSED. The Museum is in the evacuation area and will remain closed until further notice," posted the musem. "We will keep you updated. Please stay safe! HOME SCHOOL DAY is CANCELLED tomorrow! We will let you know when it is rescheduled."
