ABC's Inhumans television premiere was viewed by 3.8 million people in North America, according to Deadline. According to the Hollywood trade however, Marvel's television shows generally grow in viewers as a result of delayed viewing (such as DVR), and those numbers aren't in yet. A slightly-different cut of the pilot was shown in IMAX theaters earlier this month.
Inhumans' 3.8m viewers is very different from ABC's two previous Marvel TV debuts - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had 12.12m in its 2013 debut, and Agent Carter 6.91m in 2015. Agents, however, has drifted below 3.8m in episodes since March 2016.
The third episode of Inhumans, "Divide & Conquer," is scheduled to air October 6 on ABC.
