The Avengers will embark on a weekly adventure spinning out of "Legacy" titled "Avengers: No Surrender," according to an photograph shared by ComicBook.
Per the photo, which the news outlet reports is of an advertisement on the back of all Marvel's "Legacy" lenticular variants, "No Surrender" will kick off in January's Avengers #675.
The image shows members of the Avengers core roster as well as the Unity Squad from Uncanny Avengers. Rogue, Beast, Quicksilver, Thor, and Vision are all present, surrounding the famous stone statue of the founding Avengers.
Additionally, another figure who appears to be made of electricity is present. The lightning radiating from the figure is touching both Thor's hammer, and the hammer on the statue. This could be longtime Avenger Living Lightning, but the figure does bear some resemblance to the Inhuman Mosaic.
There is one other notable clue in the image - Voyager, a mysterious new character who Marvel have previously teased a September 29 reveal, is depicted alongside the founding Avengers in the statue.
Described as "The Beginning of the End," this "No Surrender" story has creators listed as writers Mark Waid (Avengers), Al Ewing (U.S. Avengers), Jim Zub (Uncanny Avengers), along with artists Pepe Larraz, Kim Jacinto, and Paco Medina.
It has not been reported whether the core Avengers title would be released weekly during "Avengers: No Surrender" or if it would stretch through multiple titles. According to ComicBook.com, Marvel says more information about the story will be revealed this week.
