Dave Callaham has been tapped to co-write Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Callaham was reportely recruited by director Patty Jenkins following their work on another project, with the plan that he'll write the screenplay based on a treatment she co-wrote with DC Films' co-head Geoff Johns.
Jenkins has previously said that her vision for Wonder Woman 2 would have Diana go to North America and be set during the Cold War.
Callaham is best known for writing a spec script which Sylvester Stallone used as the basis for The Expandables. Callaham has also written Doom, the 2014 Godzilla, and a rewrite of Ant-Man.
The Wonder Woman sequel is scheduled to be released December 13, 2019.
