The filming of movies and television shows in Georgia have been suspended in anticipation of the effects of Hurricane Irma, according to Deadline. Citing unspecified source, the Hollywood trade say that filming crews, as well as the SAG-AFTRA offices in Atlanta, will be closed Monday. Irma, which was downgraded to a Tropical Storm earlier Monday, made landfall on the continental United States Sunday morning.
AMC's The Walking Dead and the CW's Black Lightning are currently in production in Georgia, and the Marvel Studios' films Avengers 4 and Ant-Man & The Wasp are among numerous big-budget films currently underway at Pinewood Atlanta Studios.
