G. Willow Wilson is scheduled to speak about identity, inclusivity, and feminism at a solo event presented by Humanities Washington at Seattle's Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute. "An Evening with G. Willow Wilson" is scheduled to take place place October 23, and is the capstone event of a statewide initiative in Washington called "The Big Split: Conversations about your State and Nation."
Wilson is scheduled to speak about her work on Ms. Marvel, and that title and character's place in what's described as a "demographic shift in comic books away from mainly White characters."
The event will be moderated by Jamala Henderson from KUOW.
