Geena Davis is a pioneer of female-fronted action movies with the likes of The Long Kiss Goodnight and Cutthroat Island, and the actor has now thrown her hat in for consideration in Warner Bros.'s Wonder Woman sequel.
"I would never claim credit for [Wonder Woman or Atomic Blonde]. Certainly Wonder Woman needed to be made, and I’m so beyond thrilled with how it came out. I met Patty Jenkins and I told her, 'I’m sure you’re going to make a sequel and if you need anybody Amazonian, there’s always me. I’m available.'"
Davis went on to say she wanted to films like those she mentioned, or a television show.
"I loved it, and I want to do more of those films," added Davis. "My dream goal would be to have a streaming show where I could be a badass."
Wonder Woman 2 is scheduled for release December 13, 2019.
