CW has announced the dates of its next DCTV Universe crossover that will span Arrow, Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.
The crossover will kick off on Monday, November 27 with back-to-back episodes of Supergirl and Arrow (the latter moving from its Thursday time slot), followed by the conclusion on November 28 with episodes of The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow airing together.
The pairing of the shows over two nights marks a departure from last year's four part crossover which spanned four days, with one show airing each night.
“Last year’s (crossover) was the most successful week in CW history in terms of ratings and everything," explained CW President Mark Pedowitz of the change in structure (via Deadline). "We felt in this particular case we had Flash and Legends paired, so it was better to make it two two-hour movies - a miniseries - we thought this was the best way to go. We had a lot of conversations with producers and marketing people. Next year, we might go back to four nights.”
Supergirl season 3 premieres October 9, followed by The Flash season 4 and DC's Legends of Tomorrow season 3 on October 10. Arrow will round out the DCTV Universe premieres on October 12.
