Universal Cable Productions has optioned Mind MGMT and Flutter from Dark Horse Entertainment as part of its overall first-look deal with the company. This comes just days after Umbrella Academy was ordered by Netflix, which was previously covered under UCP's deal with Dark Horse.
“Dark Horse Entertainment is a comic mastermind with deep knowledge of the genre and an expertise in developing content” said Dawn Olmstead, Executive Vice President of Development, Universal Cable Productions. “We’re excited to continue to partner with Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg as we kick off our series Umbrella Academy on Netflix and shepherd the many adaptions we have set up around town."
Based on the comic book title by cartoonist Matt Kindt, Mind MGMT is being developed for television by The Blacklist's Dan Cerone.
Flutter, basedon the Jennie Wood and Jeff McCOmsey OGN for 215 Ink, is bein adapted by Sense8's Katherine Lindberg and Marc Rosen.

Harrow County and Concrete continue to be in development at UCP for television.
