Leah Gibson has been cast a a "street-wise" nurse named Ingrid for the second season of Marvel Television's Jessica Jones on Netflix, according to Variety. Gibson is classified as a series regular, but the provenance of the character - whether it's a new one or someone pulled from comic books - is unknown.
Earlier this year, an unconfirmed casting call for the season listed an Ingrid character- "Early-mid 30’s, 5’8 – 5’11, female, dark hair, attractive and edgy, has a history of living on the streets. Educated as a nurse, but street-wise. She is attracted to men and women."
Gibson recently appeared on the TV series The 100, but might be best known as playing Nettie in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. She also played Silhoette's unnamed girlfriend in 2008's Watchmen adaptation.
Jessica Jones' second season is anticipated to debut on Netflix sometime in 2018.
