Randall Park has joined Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp as James "Jimmy" Woo, according to The Tracking Board.
Jimmy Woo was created back in 1956 by Al Feldstein and Joe Maneely for Marvel Comics' Yellow Claw #1, but is best known in modern times for leading the early 2000s title Agents of Atlas. The Chinese-American character recently appeared in Totally Awesome Hulk.
Ant-Man and the Wasp recently began filming at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Georgia, with director Peyton Reed and actors Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michael Peña reprising their roles. Black Mirror alum Hannah John-Kamen was previously cast in an undisclosed role.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is scheduled to open in theaters July 6, 2018.
