Actress Jennifer Connelly - a.k.a. the first big screen Betty Ross in Ang Lee's The Hulk (2003) - has been revealed as the voice behind the Tony Stark-designed Spider-Man suit in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Director Jon Watts confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Connelly is playing the A.I. - nicknamed "Karen" in the movie by Peter Parker. Some fans will also remember that in real life Connelly, is married to Paul Bettany, who plays the Vision (and previously Jarvis, Iron Man's A.I.).

“Yes, it’s Jarvis’ wife,” said Watts. “It’s cool, right?”

In the film Peter Parker gives her the name Karen, but given we've seen that Tony Stark already has a A.I. protocol named Jocasta (as seen in an Age of Ultron Easter egg), the possibilities are endless.

Spider-Man: Homecoming opens Thursday night.
