Piggybacking off the recent report that the X-Men: Apocalypse cast will reunite for X-Men: Dark Phoenix, The Hollywood Reporter has word that actress Jessica Chastain is in talks to play the film's villain - Lilandra, queen of the Shi'Ar Empire.

In comic books, Lilandra has been both an ally and an enemy to the X-Men, and was a central character in the "Dark Phoenix Saga." She was even the off-and-on lover of Charles Xavier.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is due out in theaters November 2, 2018.
