Dafne Keen struck a chord as Laura/X-23 in Logan earlier this year, and now the film's director James Mangold that there has been discussions with 20th Century Fox about her return. Mangold revealed this during a screening of Logan Noir Tuesday evening, as reported by ComingSoon.net.
"Anything's possible. I've certainly talked to them about it. I even talked to them about it before we made the movie," said Mangold. "I thought she was just such a great character, but with what Dafne did, I think that certainly that’s possible.”
While no Wolverine film is on Fox's public books, Deadline has previously reported that Keen is "expected" to be in 2018's X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
The studio has played up Keen's role in Logan just this week, officially releasing the actor's audition tape ahead of a home video release on May 23.
