BLACK PANTHER & THE CREW Cancelled
Marvel has cancelled Black Panther & The Crew, according Ta-Nehisi Coates, who co-wrote the series with Yona Harvey. The writer told to The Verge that Marvel pulled the plug after two issues due to lackluster sales. However, Coates said that Marvel will publish the series through #6 to wrap up the current story-arc, which focuses on a man named Ezra Keith who dies while in police custody. According to Coates, the mystery of Keith's death will be solved.
This is the second spin-off from Coates' Black Panther series after Black Panther: World of Wakanda.
Black Panther & The Crew #3 is due out on shelves June 14, and will now feature interior art by both originally-solicited artist Butch Guice as well as newly added artist Mack Chater. The final issue, #6, has not yet been solicited.
