By now many of the specialty gadgets in Spider-Man: Homecoming's Tony Stark built Spider-suit have been revealed, but it looks like the suit has even more advanced aspects - including its very own J.A.R.V.I.S. style A.I. which, according to IGN, will lead to some comedic misunderstandings.
But that's not the end of the new features described by IGN, who spoke to Homecoming co-producer Eric Carroll. The suit also includes a parachute, a tracking device, a heater, an airbag, and the suit can even light up.
“We tried to go through the comics and pull out all the sort of fun and wacky things the suit did,” Carroll explained. “Which is even harder to explain when he built it in his own bedroom.”
There's one more function, however: a feature called "training wheels" that allows Tony Stark to control which of the suits gadgets Peter can access - something Peter will try to hack in the film.
As for Spider-Man actor Tom Holland's favorite of the suit's special abilities, it was an easy choice.
“My favorite gizmo that the suit has - there's a very funny sequence in the movie because of something that he can do with his vision in the suit,” Holland said. “He can sort of alter what he sees and how he sees things, and it's really funny to see. It's almost like the first time that you play a video game and the controls are all funny, and it's really funny seeing him look like a bada$$, but inside panic and really … not know what to do.”
Spider-Man: Homecoming is due out in theaters July 7.
