STAN LEE Gives Health Update Following 2 Con Cancellations
Following the cancellation of two major convention appearances the past two weekends, Stan Lee has given an update as to his health. On Facebook, the iconic writer/editor said that his health had improved but offered no specifics.
"Been feeling almost back up to snuff. So time to send out the battle cry: Excelsior!"
Health concerns led Lee to cancel his planned "final" appearances at March 11 and 12's Big Apple Comic Con and March 17 and 18's Salt Lake Comic Con FanX. A specific illness was never specificed, but FanX posted on Facebook saying that the 94-year-old creator had multiple doctor's visits.
“After a second visit to the doctor this morning, he was advised to rest and recuperate rather than risk getting worse. We wish him a speedy recovery and though we are disappointed, we want what is best for Stan, our dear friend."
