Warner Bros.'s upcoming Wonder Woman has received a PG-13 rating from the Motion Picture Association of America's Classification and Rating Administration board, for what's described as "sequences of violence and action, and some suggestive content." This will be director Patty Jenkins' first non-R-rated film released in theaters.
Wonder Woman's rating is relatively unsurprising, and follows in the trend of the three previous DC Extended Universe films.
Earlier this year however, a report indicated that the newly-established DC Films division at Warner Bros. was open to R-Rated films "with the right character(s)."
Wonder Woman is scheduled to be released in North American theaters June 2.
