Amy Acker, Emma Dumont, and Percy Hynes White have all joined Fox's as-yet-untitled X-Men television series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Acker will reportedly play Kate Stewart, the mother to children who are discovered to be mutants. Acker's Stewart is said to be seperated from her husband Reed (played by Stephen Moyer), but "when her family situation takes a dark turn, she finds that she's stronger than she thinks."
Acker is best known for her role in Angel, but has also played in several comic book adaptations including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Human Target.
Emma Dumont will reportedly play Lorna Dane (a.k.a. Polaris). "A strong-willed, brave and loyal mutant who has the ability to manipulate magnetism."
In comic books, Polaris is the daughter of Magneto - who in X-Men movies (which are said to be in continuity with this show) is played by Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender.
Percy Hynes White is said to be playing Andy, " a sensitive kid and bit of a loner who keeps to himself to avoid the turmoil he faces at school and at home."
These three join the previously-reported castmembers Natalie Alyn Lind , Stephen Moyer, along with Sean Teal as a new mutant named Eclipse, Blair Redford as a Native-American mutant named Sam that leads an underground network, and Jamie Chung as a recast Blink - "a sarcastic and lively tomboy."
No production timeline has been given for Fox's mutant drama.
