With dozens of Marvel heroes reportedly included in the script, Avengers: Infinity War will likely be Marvel's biggest movie ever - and it could have the biggest budget for a film ever, as well. According to a report from the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta's Pinewood Studios may currently be hosting a film with a budget of $1 billion - in other words, the largest budget ever for a film.
Pinewood Studios Co-Owner Dan Cathy made the claims at an African American Film Critics Association event. He stopped short of identifying exactly what film he was referring to, but Avengers: Infinity War is currently in production at Pinewood, and will film a second Avengers sequel back-to-back.
Even if that reported $1 billion figure refers to the budget of both films, that would still leave Infinity War at the head of the pack with a $500 million budget.
Avengers: Infinity War is due out in theaters May 4, 2018.
