Gotham alum Natalie Alyn Lind has been cast in Fox's untitled X-Men show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Lind will reportedly play Lauren, the daughter of Reed Stewart (Stephen Moyer) and his as yet-unnamed (and uncast) wife.
The character is described as "smart, pretty, popular, organized and already ahead on her college applications - essentially the model of a perfect child." Previous reports indicated that the show will focus on two parents who find out their children are mutants, which would infer that Lind's Lauren will have powers of some kind.
Lind joins Moyer, along with Sean Teal as a new mutant named Eclipse, Blair Redford as a Native-American mutant named Sam that leads an underground network, and Jamie Chung as a recast Blink a "a sarcastic and lively tomboy."
In addition to Gotham, Lind has appeared on both The Goldbergs and iZombie.
No production timeline has been given for Fox's mutant drama.
