A new animated series titled Marvel Future Avengers is coming to Japan this summer - although no release outside of the country is known, according to Animate Times (Via Anime News Network). The series follows a group of teenage superhumans who are being trained by the Avengers a la Avengers Academy. A young boy named Makoto is one of the "future Avengers," mentored by Avengers including Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Wasp.
Shogakukan is publishing a Marvel Future Avengers manga tie-in by Teruaki Mizuno, which is scheduled to debut in early March.
In 2014, Marvel partnered with Toei Animation for another Japan-specific animated series, Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers. The series has yet to be released in North America.
Marvel Future Avengers is scheduled to debut sometime this summer on the Dlife channel.
