It looks like most of the principal cast of Deadpool will reunite for the sequel, with three more actors having recently been confirmed for the film. First up, screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick confirmed that Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead would at least have cameos in the film.
"I think we can say, yeah they'll be in the sequel," Reese told Collider, with Wernick confirming "They'll at least make an appearance."
Then, the pair also confirmed that hapless but friendly cab driver Dopinder would return as well, with Wernick telling Nerdist “I would say that the relationship between Dopinder and Deadpool was the most fun for me. I love that relationship and I love that character. And he’ll be in the sequel.”
That makes four returning characters when you count Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool. With Cable already confirmed to appear, and Domino reportedly in the works, the Deadpool sequel is shaping up to be a mutant ensemble.
No title or release date for the Deadpool sequel have been announced.
