100 Bullets artist Eduardo Risso has signed on for a new Torpedo graphic novel with writer/co-creator Enrique Sánchez Abulí, acocording to Toccata Y Fugue's Javier Mesón. The one-shot album titled Torpedo 1972 is scheduled to be published by Panini Spain in 2017, and will be the first new Torpedo release in 17 years.
Torpedo 1972 will have Luca Torelli and Rascal venturing to New York City.
Risso is currently working with his 100 Bullets co-creator Brian Azzarello on a creator-owned series for Image Comics titled Moonshine.
In the past, IDW Publishing have published english-language editions of the Torpedo albums, but it's unknown if they will do so for this new volume.
