TV writer Tamara Becher has tweeted out her involvement in Hulu's Runaways adaptation. Becher recently completed work on Netflix's Iron Fist series, and joins Gossip Girl co-creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage on Runaways.

In addition to Iron Fist, Becher also worked on Covert Affairs, Warehouse 13, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
Created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, Runaways tells the story of a group of super-powered children and teenagers who go on the run after discovering that their parents are all secretly part of the same supervillain team. Though the Runaways have been dormant in comic books for some time, they remain fan favorites and several of their members continue to appear in other titles.
Hulu is one of the biggest competitors to Netflix, the streaming network that's home Marvel's 'Defenders' series, including the upcoming The Punisher. It's unclear if Runaways will be connected to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe the way series like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are.
