Just days shy of retailers' deadline to order the issue, Suicide Squad #4 has now been revised to add a back-up story by series writer Rob Williams and guest artist Gary Frank. Like the "Rebirth" title's previous back-up stories, this will spotlight one member of the team - in this case, Harley Quinn and her past connection to the Joker.
"In this story, a mission to dispose of old chemical weapons becomes personal for Harley Quinn when those weapons turn out to be Joker toxin!," reads the official description. "Now Harley must confront the demons of her past while a Joker-ized Rick Flag tries to take her out once and for all."
There's no confirmation on if the Joker himself will appear in the back-up story.
Suicide Squad #4 is solicited for release October 12. Here is original solicitation:
