Billy Crudup is in talks to play Henry Allen, the father of Barry Allen, in DC Films' upcoming The Flash, according to Variety. Crudup played Dr. Manhattan in Warner Bros.'s 2009 adaptation of DC's Watchmen, which was directed by Justice League helmer Zack Snyder.
If Crudup is indeed cast for The Flash, he would join Ezra Miller (Barry Allen/The Flash) and Kiersy Clemons (Iris West). Dope's Rick Famuyiwa is set to direct the film.
The Flash is scheduled to open in theaters March 16, 2018.
