SPIDER-MAN, MOON GIRL, More Part Of Marvel's STEAM Education-Themed Variants

Marvel Comics STEAM Variants

Marvel Comics is known for its super-science0 based heroes, and now the publisher wants to encourage its readers to get involved in real super science by publishing a series of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Mathematics)-themed variant covers this November.

The covers each represent one of the themes: Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur #13 representing Science, Spider-Man #10 representing Technology, Champions #2 representing Arts, Gwenpool #8 representing Mathematics, and Invincible Iron Man #1 representing Engineering.

“With our new STEAM variants, we plan to continue to motivate our fans to explore their passions in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math," Marvel VP of Sales & Marketing David Gabriel told Popular Science, "and present these disciplines through some of our favorite young heroes who are doing just that – following their dreams and preparing for the challenges that await them ahead.”
