DC's Legends of Tomorrow on the CW will be growing by leaps and bounds in its fall 2017 season, as both the line-ups for the Justice Society and the Legion of Doom have been revealed at the show's Comic-Con International: San Diego panel.
The Justice Society will be comprised of Hourman (Patrick J. Adams), Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Citizen Steel (Nick Zano), Obsidian, Stargirl, and Dr. Mid-Nite. The three latter characters have yet to be cast.
“For season two of Legends, we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV’s first-ever team of Super Heroes would be TV’s first-ever team of Super-Villains, recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash’s deadliest adversaries," said executive producer Marc Guggenheim. "Being huge fans of the Challenge of the Superfriends, we’ve come to call this group our ‘Legion of Doom.’”
And in the other corner, the Legion of Doom will be: Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).
“I’ve got a little experience with time travel,” Barrowman adds, referring to his BBC series Torchwood.
Letscher is said to be a series regular of Legends, while McDonough is said to be a recurring part. Barrowman and Miller are both umbrella regulars for use in all four DC-CW shows.
DC's Legends of Tomorrow will begin its second season October 13 on the CW.
