Updated September 6, 2016: The on-again off-again Batman: Return to Arkham game collection is back on the schedule. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainmnent has dated the remastered Batman: Arkham Asylum / Batman: Arkham City double-pack is now scheduled to be released October 18 on PlayStation4 and Xbox One.

Original Story: Just one month after it was announced, Batman: Return to Arkham has been delayed indefinitely by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Announced on the company's "Arkham Knight" forums, the decision came after apparent problems were discovered in a review of the near-finished product.

"After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience," read the official post. "We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready.  We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans."

Originally scheduled for release July 26 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Batman: Return To Arkham is a bundled re-release of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City remastered using the Unreal Engine 4 and containing all the DLCs released for those games.
