Supergirl joins the CW's DC-verse this fall, and though it's unclear how integrated she'll be into the interconnected drama, according to Flash star Grant Gustin, there will be "more crossovers than ever," and maybe something more between the Scarlet Speedster and the Girl of Steel.
"We had a really fun dynamic, and I think next year, there's probably more crossovers than we've ever had," Gustin told DC All Access.
Speaking of the dynamic he shared with Melissa Benoist's Supergirl in their previous shared adventure, Gustin teased that it could be more than just a friendship.
"I think [Barry and Kara] would make a great couple," Gustin chuckled, when asked if there was romance in the air, after a coy silence.
As for what's coming in the third season of The Flash, Gustin was reluctant to share much, but did drop a big hint about the season's villain.
"I've heard whispers that we might have a big bad that isn't a meta-human," Gustin admitted, echoing statements previously made by Arrow star Stephen Amell about his own show. Could the pair of shows share a common enemy? Or is there simply a theme building in CW's DC-verse?
