Updated May 16, 2016: Less than a week after ABC announced the cancellation of Agent Carter, a Change.org petition for the show to be 'saved' by Netflix or another network has accumulated 55,976 signatures. Series star Hayley Atwell, as well as Chad Michael Murray and co-showrunner Tara Butters have endorsed the petition, despite Atwell and Butters currently filming the new ABC series Conviction.
Original Story: As has become almost customary when a fan-favorite show is cancelled, a petition to revive the recently nixed Agent Carter as a Netflix show has surfaced on Change.Org just hours after the announcement of its cancellation.
“Agent Carter was a show who [sic] united a lot of people, just for Peggy,” reads the petition, started by a user named Arnau S. “Her fandom is really united, we all love Peggy. Her series has been canceled, but we can bring her to Netflix!”
The petition currently sits at 6,800 signatures of its desired 7500 (including that of Ms. Marvel writer G. Willow Wilson).
Agent Carter star Hayley Awell and showrunners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas have already seemingly moved on however, with a new legal drama called Conviction already greenlight for a fall debut on ABC.
