Marvel Studios has cast Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey to play on-screen siblings Joy and Ward Meachum in Netflix's Iron Fist, according to Variety.
"The children of Harold Meachum (Wenham), Joy and Ward have spent their lives building Rand Enterprises to its current standing in the world, only to have all their work put in jeopardy when Danny returns to claim his birthright," describes the Hollywood trade. "They are childhood acquaintances of Danny Rand’s who now play an important role in Rand Enterprises."
Stroup is best known for her role in Fox's 90210 remake, and has also appeared in number of horror films.
Pelphrey comes from soap operas, having had regular roles on Guiding Light and As The World Turns. Most recently, the actor has been on Cinemax's Banshee.
If this casting is accurate, Stroup and Pelphrey would join Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, and David Wenham, who play Danny Rand/Iron Fist, Colleen Wing, and their on-screen father Harold Meachum, respectively.
Neither Marvel nor Netflix have revealed the debut date of Iron Fist.
