Grant Gustin may not be making the jump from CW's Flash to playing the character on the big screen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but that doesn't mean director Zack Snyder didn't consider bringing the actor up to the big leagues.
“I just don’t think it was a good fit,” Snyder told The New York Daily News. “I’m very strict with this universe and I just don’t see a version where...that (tone is) not our world.”
Ezra Miller, who plays Flash in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League: Part One and Two, has compared the two separate Flashes to DC's multiverse, saying he believes there is room for both versions of the character - something Snyder seems to echo.
“Even if Grant Gustin is my favorite guy in the world and he’s very good, we made a commitment to the multi-verse (idea), so it’s just not a thing that’s possible.”
Ezra Miller's Flash makes his debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25, while Grant Gustin's version appears in The Flash, Tuesday nights on CW.
