The long-simmering remake of The Crow has lost director Corin Hardy, according to Empire. Hardy tweeted a panel from James O'Barr's original miniseries which could allude to a confirmation of that, but Hardy nor the film's producers have officially commented on Empire's reports.
A remake of The Crow has been in development since 2008, first with Blade director Stephen Norrington. Subsequently, both 28 Weeks Later's Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and Rings F. Javier Guitierrez were announced as replacement directors bCut left the project as well. Changes also took place with the actor playing the lead role, segueing from Luke Evans to Jack Huston and most reently rumored, Sam Witwer.
