Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC Entertainment have launched a new mobile app called DC All Access intended to be a destination for news, original content, contests, movie tickets, and -- yes -- digital comics. Also included in the app is a "DC Keyboard" with various animated gifs revolving around DC characters. Available now for both the iOS and Android platforms, DC All Access comes just after Warner Bros. acquired a minority stake in the online movie ticket retailer Fandango.
“The DC All Access app is a global, studio-wide effort that brings together all things DC like never before," said DC's Vice President of Digital Marketing, Sam Ades. “It’s such an exciting time for DC with our film slate, TV shows, bestselling video games, comics and so much more – now fans can access everything at their fingertips in a persistent, interactive and social experience.”
DC promises "exclusive" news, videos and images on DC All Acess, beginning with a behind-the-scenes video and contest for tickets to the premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
