Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds is finally facing off with Wolverine - but it's not how you might expect. Reynolds ambushed Hugh Jackman during the press junket for Jackman's new film Eddie the Eagle.
Reynolds primarily asked Jackman loaded questions about Eddie the Eagle, but managed to slip in a few references to Wolverine as well.
"Did you guys get any notes from the studio to sew Eddie's mouth shut, or make lasers shoot from his eyes?" Reynolds asked, referencing his ill-received turn as a very different Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, to which Jackman responded "I didn't, but I thought it would be a great idea. As a story, it totally makes sense."
Reynolds also asked Jackman if he wore lifts on the set of X-Men Origins: Wolverine to appear taller than his co-stars, crediting the question to a "fan" named "Bryan Bleynolds."
